Bridge Lighting

Creating effective task and feature lighting solutions for pedestrian bridges, overpasses, marinas and harbours. At I-Vision, we produce a range of lighting systems as well as designing and building bespoke solutions based on proven light engines that achieve low maintenance, low energy and long-lasting results. Our portfolio extends globally as we form new relationships and develop custom focused solutions incorporating LED and control technology that not only looks great but manages expectations for lighting the way.

CASE STUDY #1

Lopstikka Pedestrian Bridge, Oslo Norway

The Lopstikka project was one of our first bridge lighting ventures in Norway, where we were approached by the client to create a bespoke solution for a unique bridge they were building that required continuous long runs of lighting.

Controlled through local street lighting system

CASE STUDY #2

Ullevaal Stadium Footbridge, Oslo Norway

The Ullevaal stadium footbridge presented the design team with just a few challenges, not only with the size being 850m+, but with the curved handrail system. We redeveloped an existing product to cater for the challenge using constant current LED drive to cope with much longer circuits as well as a new cable containment system. CASE STUDY #4

Hams Way Bridge, Worcester

We worked with Lighting Integrations Ltd. on creating a task lighting solution for Hams Way’s new cycle and footbridge, creating 750m of product that fits within the low-level steel plinth of the bridge, tailored to work within the environmental requirements of the surrounding area.

• Custom holder used as quite uniquely the LED linear is just above the deck on both sides of the bridge.

• We specifically used 2700K warm white due to the environmental area close to the river where wildlife (bats especially), are less disturbed by warm colours

CASE STUDY #5

A52 Wyvern Footbridge, Derby

We modified our own product to fit the new A52 wyvern footbridge, illuminating both the main bridge and ramps, in excess of 300 fittings, to enhance pedestrian experience and further aid sustainable transport within the area. Job completed with Lighting Integration Ltd.
